Louisville opens as a 2-point favorite over Kentucky

Despite being the lower-ranked team and having lost eight of the last nine meetings in the series, Vegas has tabbed Louisville as a 2-point favorite in its annual rivalry game with Kentucky.

U of L has been an underdog just one time this season -- its Battle 4 Atlantis semifinal game against Wichita State. Louisville wound up winning that game, 62-52.

I keep trying to tell everyone: opening lines always mimic Ken Pom predictions, and right now Ken Pom has Louisville winning this game, 79-78. That said, I would not expect that line to stay put for very long. In fact, I would be mildly shocked if the Cards are still favored by the time tip rolls around.
