Syracuse wins 2OT thriller over Cal 107-100

The Orange snapped a 2-game losing streak and earned a big home victory over Cal, 107-100 in double overtime. They were able to finally get ahead, outscoring the Golden Bears 16-9 in the second overtime period to seal the deal. Syracuse outscored Cal 62-46 in the paint and shot 54% from the field for the night. Six Orange players notched double figures, led by Nate Kingz, who registered 27 points on 8 of 14 shooting from the floor with 4 rebounds, 2 assists, in addition to a block and a steal. His teammate JJ Starling added 21 points while Donnie Freeman chipped in 16 points with 6 boards. Dai Dai Ames was the leading scorer for Cal with 23 points.
