Quarterback Miller Moss threw for 187 yards and a touchdown, while also rushing for two more touchdowns. Boston College's Grayson James completed 23 of 46 passes for 244 yards and three touchdowns. Touchdown Kaelan Chudzinski caught four passes for 80 yards and a touchdown.

For NC State, tight end Justin Joly caught six passes for 101 yards and two touchdowns while only playing in the first half. Quarterback CJ Bailey was 24-40 for 225 yards and three touchdowns.

The game came down to an untimed down from the Stanford 2-yard line, where the Cardinals' defense stopped Gavin Sawchuck inches from the goal line. Stanford got the win despite being outgained 444-239. Running back Cole Tabb had to fill in after Micah Ford got injured, and Tabb ran for 118 yards and a touchdown on 28 carries. Wide receiver CJ Williams caught four passes for 61 yards and a touchdown. For Florida State, Tommy Castellanos was 14-28 for 242 yards with 33 rushing yards and a touchdown.

Quarterback Mason Heintschel completed 13 of 24 passes for 143 yards and ran for 23 yards and a touchdown on 12 carries. The Syracuse defense had seven sacks, 12 tackles for loss, and an interception. Quarterback Richie Collins threw for 126 yards and two touchdowns on 16-23 passing. Collins also ran for 37 yards on 10 carries.
