The Yellow Jackets tried to rally late, but the Hurricanes rallied late to get a 91-81 victory. Miami jumped out to a 9-0 and 15-2 lead and never trailed in the game. Georgia Tech was able to cut the lead down to five with 2:12 remaining, but Tre Donaldson scored the next seven points for Miami to close out the game. Donaldson finished with a season-high 27 points to go with 10 assists and three steals. Malik Reneau added 18 points, four rebounds, two assists, a block, and a steal. Ernest Udeh Jr. had a double-double with 13 points and 15 rebounds. Georgia Tech's Kowacie Reeves Jr. scored 23 points and grabbed six rebounds. Lamar Washington had 21 points, 12 assists, six rebounds, and three steals.
