Running back Ja'Kyrian "Boosie" Turner ran the ball 14 times for 65 yards and a touchdown, and he caught six passes for 35 yards. For Virginia Tech, quarterback Ethan Grunkemeyer threw for 434 yards, three touchdowns, and two interceptions on 30-41 passing. Wide receiver Que'Sean Brown caught seven passes for 147 yards and a touchdown.
