Pitt loses home game to Quinnipiac 83-75

The Pitt Panthers lost at home to the Bobcats, 83-75. Pitt gave up 47 first-half points and allowed Quinnipiac to make 57.1% of their field goals for the game. Roman Siulepa led Pitt with 20 points, eight rebounds, and four steals. Barry Dunning Jr. added 17 points and five rebounds. Quinnipiac's Amarri Monroe scored 25 points on 9-13 shooting.

Pitt picks up huge win at Georgia Tech 42-28

The #16 Yellow Jackets may have had their ACC Championship dreams dashed after a 42-28 home loss to the Panthers. Pitt jumped out to a 28-0 lead, and when Georgia Tech got the lead down to 35-28, Panthers running back Ja'Kyrian Turner broke off a 56-yard touchdown run to seal the game. Turner ran the ball 21 times for 201 yards and a touchdown. Pitt Quarterback Mason Heintschel completed 20 of 27 passes for 226 yards and 2 touchdowns, and he had another rushing touchdown as well. Georgia Tech's Haynes King threw for 257 yards and two touchdowns on 27-41 passing. King was also the Yellow Jackets' leading rusher with 76 yards and a touchdown on 20 carries.
