The Seminoles defeated Virginia Tech, 34-14, on Senior Night. Both teams ran the ball for over 235 yards in the game. Quarterback Tommy Castellanos passed for 189 yards and a touchdown, and he ran for 45 yards and two touchdowns. Wide receiver Duce Robinson had a big night with six receptions for 134 yards and a touchdown. Virginia Tech running back Marcellous Hawkins ran the ball 12 times for 101 yards. Quarterback Kyron Drones threw for 125 yards and a touchdown while running for 79 yards and another touchdown.

Chandler Morris started at quarterback for the Cavaliers and threw for an incredible 316 yards on 23-35 passing with 2 touchdowns and 2 interceptions in the win. Trell Harris was Morris' go-to guy and finished with a career-high 161 receiving yards and a touchdown on 8 catches. J'Mari Taylor continued his uber-productive season with 133 yards on just 18 carries with 2 scores.
