West Virginia vs. Clemson: Playing at the Shriners Children's Charleston Classic in Charleston, South Carolina, the Tigers pulled off a second half comeback to defeat the Mountaineers, 70-67. Down by 5 with 4:30 left in the game, Clemson scored nine straight points, eight by Carter Welling, to take a lead. Clemson outscored West Virginia 45-35 in the second half. Jestin Porter and RJ Godfrey each scored 14 points to lead Clemson. Dillon Hunter had 13 points, four assists, three rebounds, and two steals. Welling finished with 13 points for the Tigers. For West Virginia, Chance Moore filled up the stat sheet with 16 points, five rebounds, two blocks, two steals, and an assist.
