The Mustangs went to Winston-Salem and took care of the Demon Deacons, 91-79. SMU led by as many as 20 before Wake Forest scored the final eight points of the game. Wake Forest's Juke Harris scored a game-high 27 points with five made three-pointers, six rebounds, three assists, three steals, and two blocks. Tre'Von Spillers had 19 points.
