The SMU Mustangs got big games from Kevin "Boopie" Miller, B.J. Edwards, Corey Washington, and Jaron Pierre Jr. as they worked their way past the Murray State Racers, 102-91. Miller scored a game-high 28 points on 9-13 shooting, including 3-5 from three-point range, along with 6 assists, 3 steals, and a block in the win. Edwards added 20 points with 5 assists and 2 steals, Pierre Jr. scored 19 before fouling out, and Washington finished with 17 points and 11 rebounds in the win.
