EA Sports announced yesterday that they will start working on a new college basketball video game:

College basketball video games have been sorely missed for what has been about 15 years. Much like college football games, NCAA basketball faced an unfortunate fate quite some time ago thanks to the problem surrounding name, image, and likeness issues. Now that the NCAA is as far away from amateur status as it has ever been, it is time for EA Sports to do what we have all been waiting for: bring back college basketball video games.
