The ACC took center stage at the 2025 NBA Draft as the conference once again provided the first overall pick in Duke phenom Cooper Flagg. It was no surprise when the Dallas Mavericks made Flagg the first player selected. Kon Knueppel went next to Charlotte with the fourth overall pick and will play his home games in the same building he won ACC Tournament MVP in. Khaman Maluach was taken with the 10th pick by the Houston Rockets to round out the trio of Duke players to start things off. Drake Powell and the Tar Heels entered the chat when the Atlanta Hawks took the UNC freshman with the 22nd pick.
