Notes
- Kansas went through this bracket a high percentage of the time in my simulations
- In fact there was quite a bit of stability with the Sweet 16 picks, although the Nova/Miami game could go either way.
- Game Sim liked Vandy in the Vandy/Zona matchup, but likes Arizona if Wichita State gets a win instead.
- Watch out for Hawaii as it liked Cal in a close one.
West
Notes
- Of the 4 regions this one showed the biggest variation in their Final Four representative.
- Duke managed to win the bracket with a double-figure win over UNCW followed by 3 wins of 3 points or less. In other words, this one is a toss-up. Oklahoma and Texas A&M are just as likely to win the region, but Duke took it most of the time.
- Game Sim loves VCU to pull an upset in the opening round. Yale and UNCW did pull upsets on occasion so those matchups are worth watching.
- The 8/9 matchup of Saint Joseph's and Cincinnati is a virtual toss-up.
