Game Sim's NCAA Tournament Prediction Schedule

  • Monday: 1 PM - South and West Regions

  • Tuesday: 1 PM - East and Midwest Regions

  • Wednesday: 1 PM - Final Four and National Champion

South

Notes

  • Kansas went through this bracket a high percentage of the time in my simulations
  • In fact there was quite a bit of stability with the Sweet 16 picks, although the Nova/Miami game could go either way.
  • Game Sim liked Vandy in the Vandy/Zona matchup, but likes Arizona if Wichita State gets a win instead.
  • Watch out for Hawaii as it liked Cal in a close one.

West

Notes

  • Of the 4 regions this one showed the biggest variation in their Final Four representative.
  • Duke managed to win the bracket with a double-figure win over UNCW followed by 3 wins of 3 points or less.  In other words, this one is a toss-up.  Oklahoma and Texas A&M are just as likely to win the region, but Duke took it most of the time.
  • Game Sim loves VCU to pull an upset in the opening round.  Yale and UNCW did pull upsets on occasion so those matchups are worth watching.
  • The 8/9 matchup of Saint Joseph's and Cincinnati is a virtual toss-up.

Make sure to check out the predictions for the East and Midwest Regions tomorrow.
