Add the Biletnikoff Award to the number of "Watch Lists" populated by Demon Deacons this season. Rising senior Michael Campanaro's name was among those listed as a candidate for the award, given annually to the best receiver in the country. The list, which includes Clemson's Sammy Watkins and Devin Street of Pittsburgh, will be whittled down to ten semifinalists on November 18 before the winner is announced on December 12.

Several ACC players made the list, check out the full list here.

"I'm just happy to be representing Wake Forest," Campanaro said. "I'm happy to bring any kind of positive publicity to our team and school."

Campanaro returns for his senior season after being struck by the injury bug in 2012. Despite missing two games, he still managed to finish the season with 79 catches and 6 touchdowns and a spot on the All-ACC second team. Campanaro shrugged off what he termed as minor injuries, but admitted that missing time influenced his summer training.

"When you're out for a little while, you get focused and motivated to get back," he said. "I went out to Arizona and worked out at API (Athlete's Performance). I probably lost seven pounds, but I'm the strongest and fastest I've ever been."

Campanaro, who will represent Wake Forest along with linebacker Justin Jackson at next week's ACC Kickoff, is enthusiastic and optimistic about the Demon Deacons' prospects for a successful year.

"We've got a whole different attitude around here right now. Guys have been working really hard. The defense looks really great. Guys are just excited. We're talking about ACC Championship every day, that's our goal. We really believe we've got the talent this year to make it happen."
