The No. 12 Miami Hurricanes went on the road and handled the No. 22 Pitt Panthers to the tune of a 38-7 victory. Carson Beck had another magnificent game for the Hurricanes, throwing for 267 yards and 3 touchdowns on 23-29 passing in the win. Malachi Toney had another phenomenal game as he passed Ahmmon Richards for the most receiving yards by a Miami freshman in a single season. He was clearly Beck's go-to guy throughout the game and finished with 13 receptions for 126 yards and a score, while also rushing the ball 5 times for 30 yards, and he even threw a touchdown pass to Elija Lofton. Girard Pringle Jr. rushed the ball 10 times for 82 yards for Mario Cristobal's offense. Mason Heintschel fought hard and completed 22-32 passes for 199 yards and a touchdown and an interception in the loss.
