How does FSU's Nick O'Leary walk away unharmed in this motorcycle accident?

FSU tight end Nick O'Leary (and grandson of Jack Nicklaus) was involved in a scary motorcycle accident on May 2nd.  O'Leary slammed into the side of a car on his motorcycle but amazingly walked away from the accident and should be ready for the start of the football season.  The video which is seen below is from a bus that has stopped to let out passengers.  The video shows a car pull into the road and block the opposite lane.  No clue what the person in the car was doing.  To say O'Leary is lucky is an understatement.
