The Florida State Seminoles had little trouble getting past Mike Norvell's alma mater, the Central Arkansas Bears, 34-7. FSU quarterback Ashton Daniels completed 12-18 passes for 224 yards for 224 yards and 2 touchdowns, while Jayvan Boggs reeled in 6 catches for 122 yards and a touchdown in the win. Ousmane Kromah ran the ball extremely well, finishing with 11 carries for 86 yards and 2 scores for Norvell's crew. The FSU defense was stout, holding the Bears to 248 total yards and forcing 2 turnovers in front of a great crowd at Doak Campbell Stadium.
