The Cardinals now have a full 13 scholarship players for Pat Kelsey’s first season.

Former Georgia and Syracuse big man Frank Anselem-Ibe committed to Louisville on Tuesday night. His commitment means that all 13 scholarships for Pat Kelsey’s first season at U of L are currently accounted for.
A 6’10, 220-pound center originally rom Nigeria, Anselem-Ibe is likely a depth add in the frontcourt for Kelsey. He averaged 2.6 points, 2.1 rebounds and 0.7 blocks in 9.1 minutes per game for Georgia last season, a stat line pretty consistent with the averages he posted over the previous three seasons of his college career.
A member of the 2020 recruiting class, Anselem-Ibe was a three-star prospect who ranked No. 183 overall according to the 247 Sports composite rankings. He has one year of collegiate eligibility remaining.
Nine days ago we only had one frontcourt player. Now, we have four.
The roster is locked and loaded. Props to Pat Kelsey on accomplishing something we had previously been told was impossible.
