Wake Forest takes on the CTG Knights tomorrow night at 7 p.m. in the second game of the Bahamas

Fresh off a 93-72 win that saw an impressive debut for many Demon Deacons, Wake Forest will take on the CTG Knights tomorrow night at 7 p.m. The Camp Trevor Grant (CTG) Knights are a team from the Bahamas and are currently 0-4 in this tournament.

Their losses have come to: Missouri State (86-87), Wyoming (74-81), Akron (77-126), and UNLV earlier tonight (106-85). Needless to say, Wake Forest is expected to win this, and I would say they should win by more than the 21 points they managed over Toronto this morning.

They actually led Wyoming 63-56 after three quarters before the Pokes outscored them 25-11 in the final quarter of play. Out of the 24 teams in this entire tournament (the BTC Summer of Thunder 2016), the Knights are last with four losses and 400 points allowed.

To put it quite frankly, it's hard to find almost anything on this team other than the official Bahamas website. They did have a guy named Eugene Bain (who I will assume is a big guy) drop 42 points on UNLV on 31 shots, with only 2 three-point attempts. He also chipped in 9 rebounds to go along with it. This is good news because it means Collins, Moore, and SJM will have at least somebody to go up against inside.

Their second best player based on stats appears to be Trevone Grant, who, to put it lightly, is a volume scorer. He is 16-67 in four games (24% from the field), including 8-34 from the three-point line.

What I would like to see from a Wake Forest perspective is better protection of the basketball out of Bryant Crawford, and a commitment to solid passes throughout the entire game. Another big key that I'm sure Coach Manning is looking at will be closing out on three-point shooting after collapsing on the penetration.

With Bain averaging 26 points per game in this tournament, it will be interesting to see how the Deacs choose to defend him in the interior. That is something to watch for as the game goes along.

I am also very excited to watch the new guys again and watch them continue to develop. It seems like Brandon Childress is extremely composed for a freshman, which is not that unexpected considering his father. He has excellent court vision and delivers the passes with unique precision as well.

When you add Austin Arians and Keyshawn Woods as spot-up shooters to guys like Childress and Crawford who can penetrate and dish, you have a hard team to defend.  The Deacs will be absolutely no match for the CTG Knights, and this is really a game where Coach Manning will want to "focus on us" and not worry so much about the competition.
