Codi Miller-McIntyre Will Play Against UNC Greensboro

The Wake Forest basketball team will finally be at full strength.

Danny Manning announced on Monday afternoon that Codi Miller-McIntyre will make his long anticipated return on Tuesday against UNC Greensboro. The senior guard missed the Wake Forest basketball team's first 8 games of the season, during which the Deacs went 6-2. Miller-McIntyre averaged 14.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 4.3 assists last season.

This will mark the first time that Wake Forest will be "fully" healthy. It appears that Codi still won't be 100%, and that Manning will ease him back in, but 90% of Codi is still a great option. The next two games are against UNC Greensboro and Coastal Carolina, respectively. They should be excellent opportunities for Manning to experiment with several lineups and still emerge victorious. I hope that Manning can get Codi a solid 15-20 minutes in each contest.

After that, however, the Deacs have a very difficult stretch. The following four games are against #10 Xavier, at LSU, at #19 Louisville, and against #6 Duke. Wake has beaten solid teams (Indiana and UCLA) without CMM, but his presence will almost definitely be needed in order for the Deacs to be competitive once the ACC season starts.

I very much look forward to watching Codi play on Tuesday night.
