Ten SEC Teams in the AP Top 25, Two From the ACC. The Numbers Say That Gap Is Way Too Wide

Open up this week's AP Top 25 and count the SEC logos. You'll get to ten. Texas is No. 1, Georgia is No. 2, and after that it's Alabama, Florida, Ole Miss, LSU, Mississippi State, Tennessee, Kentucky and Missouri. That's ten of the league's 16 teams, or more than 60 percent of the conference, ranked in the top 25 at the end of September.
