First day of vacation for me so forgive me for this being short. Over the next couple weeks I'll likely skip a few days or give you quick posts. Last night, Duke downed UCLA 80-63 in Madison Square Garden. To my eye, it was easily Duke's best defensive performance of the season especially considering the opponent. You can see Duke's offensive and defensive efficiencies graphed by game here if you don't believe me.
Clemson dropped a game I felt they should have won at Auburn 66-64. Clemson's defense which had been great this year allowed Auburn to score on 16 of their final 20 possessions helping a 9 point Clemson lead disappear.
Miami defeated Savannah State 68-51 in the only other game of the night.
