Yahoo: Bullock to Enter the NBA Draft

According to Yahoo! Sports NBA writer Adrian Wajnarowski, UNC junior Reggie Bullock will forgo his final year of eligibility to enter the NBA Draft.

Bullock, 22, has gone back and forth on his decision, but ultimately decided in the past 48 hours to make the move into the pros. North Carolina coaches tried to convince Bullock to remain for his senior year and improve his draft status, but Bullock, a 6-foot-7 small forward, made the choice to leave now.

Bullock is considered a late-first to early second-round draft pick, league executives tell Yahoo! Sports. For North Carolina, Bullock averaged 13.9 points on 48 percent shooting as a junior.

The rumors all along have indicated Bullock was leaning this way but some hope was held out he might return to improve his draft standing. Still it is not a real surprise since there were some financial/familial implications Bullock was dealing with as a part of his decision. There is also no guarantee Bullock's stock would necessarily rise, especially given this draft is considered to be weaker than next year's.

Reggie Bullock has been a model Tar Heel and his contributions last year in stepping in for Dexter Strickland and this season were everything you could ask of him. He was a solid player who always gave his best for the good of the team. We wish him nothing but the best as he pursues his professional career.

There is still no word on what James Michael McAdoo might do. With Bullock leaving, the talk will now turn to Andrew Wiggins and whether Roy Williams can pull off one of the bigger recruiting coups of his tenure at North Carolina.
