Syracuse Orange fans are ones to hold receipts. But it’s not a trait exclusive to us -- the internet typically behaves similarly, especially when schadenfreude can be extracted.
So was the case when the Virginia Cavaliers’ Twitter accounted posted about all of the milestones from 2017-18, but conveniently (and understandably) left off the program’s biggest accomplishment of all.
Virginia basketball is obviously is fine shape overall, but they’re not living down that loss to UMBC any time soon... unless they find a way to top it, somehow, like they did the last time they suffered a stunning upset.
