In a game that went back and forth and was full of action, the No. 15 seeded Pitt Panthers outlasted the No. 10 seeded Stanford Cardinal, 64-63 in the first round 2026 T. Rowe Price ACC Men's Basketball Tournament. Trailing by a point in the final seconds, Pitt's Damarco Minor drove the lane and was denied, but followed up his miss with the putback that gave the Panthers the win. The Panthers spread around the scoring, with Barry Dunning Jr. leading the way with 16 points on 7-10 shooting, including 2-4 from three-point range to go along with 8 rebounds, 3 steals and 2 blocked shots. Roman Siulepa came up big with 14 points and 7 rebounds while Cameron Corhen added 12 and Omari Witherspoon scored 11 for Jeff Capel's crew. Ebuka Okorie led the Cardinal with 14 points while Benny Gealer added 11 points in the loss.
