The Golden Beats defeated the Hornets 91-67. Cal used a 17-0 run in the first half to blow the game open, and the Golden Bears led by as many as 34. Cal tied a season-high with 15 made three-pointers. Chris Bell led the Golden Bears with 21 points. Justin Pippen and Dai Dai Ames each scored 16 points. Pippen also had five assists, four rebounds, two steals, and two blocks. John Camden added 14 points. Sacramento State's Brandon Gardner finished with 19 points and six rebounds.
