Virginia Tech shot a blistering 53% from the field and 41% from three-point land to defeat St. Joe's 94-59. The Hokies also handed out 23 assists to just 7 turnovers. Amani Hansberry led all scorers with 19 points while also adding 3 assists and 2 steals. Highly touted prospect Neoklis Avdalas did his part, dropping 14 points with 7 assists and 2 blocks for VT. Four other Virginia Tech players reached double figures, led by Jaden Schutt, who had 12 points. Ben Hammond, Tobi Lawal, and Tyler Johnson each registered 11 points for the Hokies.
