Duke opened their ACC schedule with a 76-65 road victory over the Cardinals. Louisville made eight first half three-pointers to take a four-point lead into halftime. Louisville would lead by as many as 7 in the second half, but an 18-2 run by Duke in the middle of the second half swung the game in the Blue Devils' favor. Cooper Flagg recorded a double-double with 20 points and 12 rebounds. Kon Knueppel scored 12 points and dished out six assists. For Louisville, Terrence Edwards Jr. scored a game-high 21 points to go with two rebounds and two steals.
