The Virginia Tech Hokies knocked off Coppin State, 100-55 to open the men’s basketball season. Five Hokies scored in double-digits, with Sam Pedulla leading the way with 15 points and 10 assists. Lynn Kidd added 14 points and 11 rebounds and Hunter Catoor scored 13 for Virginia Tech. Tyler Nickel and Brandon Rechsteiner added 12 points each in the win.
