First Meeting: Led by Pete MacRae's 11 points, the Orangemen notched their first win of the 1923 season, a 29-12 defeat of the Bonnies.

Last Meeting: In 2009, St. Bonaventure gave it a go but fell to the No. 5 Orange, 85-72. The game was marred by Bonnies' center Andrew Nicholson cup-checking Andy Rautins and getting ejected for it.

Head Coach: Coach Mark Schmidt is in his ninth season at the helm of St. Bonaventure's team. Schmidt, who is the fourth-longest tenured coach in the Atlantic 10, has 125 wins. He needs eight wins to pass Jim Baron for sixth place on the Bonnie's coaching wins list, and 10 to pass Eddie Melvin.

Last Year: The Bonnies finished 18-13 (10-8) to place seventh in the Atlantic 10. The lost to Dayton in the A10 Quarterfinals. They were not invited to the NCAA Tournament or NIT and, per school policy, they did not accept invitations to other postseason tournaments.

Last GameSt. Bonaventure relied on its defense and strong second half play from Dion Wright, Denzel Gregg and freshman Nelson Kaputo to top Binghamton 63-53. Wright scored 16 of his game-high 20 points in the second half to lead the Bonnies. Playing 31 minutes off the bench, junior Denzel Gregg and recorded the first double-double of his career, scoring 15 points and grabbing 11 rebounds to go with four blocks.

"Fear Me, I've Killed Hundreds of Timelords": If anyone is gonna have the game of their life, it's junior forward Denzel Gregg. Gregg is from Syracuse (Nottingham High School) and he's been coming strong off the bench so far in exhibition and regular season play. There's also Wright, who, you know, is actually their best player.

If Syracuse Wins: "They s'posed to!"

If Syracuse Loses: Boeheim is gonna be piiiiiiiiiissed.

Fun Fact: In all those games since 1923, St. Bonaventure has never won in Syracuse.
