No surprise, Louisville is favored over the Orange on Friday.

The Louisville Cardinals and Syracuse Orange will pick up their rivalry after a year off and when they do, the Cards will be favored by 3.5 points, according to OddsShark.

The Cardinals come into the Friday night game with a 4-1 overall record, most recently defeating Wake Forest 20-10. Their loss came at the hands of the Virginia Cavaliers a few weeks back. They also come into the game with the nation's top run defense, which is concerning for an SU team that has had trouble establishing the run.

Syracuse enters the game 2-2, riding a two-game losing streak after losses to Maryland and Notre Dame.

The two schools have met 12 times and the series is tied at 6-6. Syracuse won the last meeting, also in the Carrier Dome, by the score of 45-26. Before that, Louisville had won three straight in the series.
