Syracuse men's basketball extends offers following Elite Camp

The Orange sent out a few offers following its Elite Camp as recruiting season ramps up.

Each year the Syracuse Orange men’s basketball program hosts its Elite Camp in late August with the intention of getting potential recruits on campus and to further evaluate talent. Every so often the coaching staff will extend offers to kids following the completion of camp, as was the case this year.

For the class of 2019, the Orange offered Brycen Goodine out of Massachusetts.

Goodine is listed as 6-foot-4 guard and is considered a three star prospect over at 247 sports. He plays at St. Andrews for Mike Hart, the same program/coach that produced Demetris Nichols and Michael Carter-Williams.

Also in the 2019 class, Syracuse offered John Bol Ajak, a 6-foot-10 forward out of PA. He runs with Team Final on the AAU circuit, the same program with 2018 guys Cam Reddish and Louis King, both offered by Syracuse. The latter two guys figure to be a long shot for the 2018 class, not to mention that the forward spot looks deep for the next few years. Khalif Battle — who was also at the camp and already holds an offer from the Orange — also runs with the Team Final program.

Additionally, Syracuse offered two players out of Roselle Catholic, the same school that Tyler Roberson and Malachi Richardson (sophomore year) attended. Staying in the 2019 class, Syracuse offered Khalil Whitney, a four-star guy ranked 69th (nice) over at 247. Also out of Roselle but in the 2020 class, the Orange offered 6-foot-11 forward Clifford Omoruyi.

What are your thoughts on the new Syracuse recruits coming in the pipeline? Are you excited? Couldn’t care less and just waiting for hoops season to start? Still trying to un-hear Stephen A Smith’s unintelligible and indiscernible analogy after that Mayweather vs. McGregor fight? Leave your thoughts in the comment section below.
