Rashad Muhammad Will Visit Wake Forest

The quest for the final roster spot continues.

Rashad Muhammad, a transfer from San Jose State, will visit Wake Forest according to Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports. Muhammad, who averaged 13.9 points per game last season, also plans to visit Miami and South Florida. Muhammad was the team's leading scorer during each of the past two seasons. He will have to sit out next season, and after that will have two years of eligibility remaining.

It now appears likely that the final scholarship will be given to either Muhammad, Keyshawn Woods, or will be rolled over and used on the 2016 recruiting class. Woods, a transfer from Charlotte, is scheduled to visit Wake Forest tomorrow. While Muhammad, the younger brother of NBA player Shabazz Muhammad, had a lower offensive rating than Woods' (97.3 to 111.1), but one could make the argument that Muhammad may be a better fit for Wake's team. The counter to that, is since neither is eligible to play until the 2016-2017 season, it's difficult to figure out exactly what Wake's team needs will be at that time.

Muhammad is a better shot creator and shot maker than Woods, but Woods had a significantly higher 3-point % last season (47% to 36%). A wing who can create is something Wake Forest has not had in a long time. Do you all have a preference? Personally, I'm torn.
