The Golden Bears made it 4 out of 5 and shook off their recent loss to Pitt with a 76-65 victory over Georgia Tech. Cal trailed by four at the half but exploded in the second half to use a 44-29 advantage to get the victory. In that second half, Cal shot 50% from the field and 42% from deep while holding GT to 33% shooting and 0-6 from 3-point land. The Golden Bears forced 17 Georgia Tech turnovers and outscored their bench 20-4. Dai Dai Ames paced Cal with 18 points, and Lee Dort added 16. Kowacie Reeves Jr. led all scorers with 19 points for Tech.
