It was a gritty, back-and-forth game that the Tigers tied with just over 3 minutes to play on an Adam Randall touchdown run. Haynes King led the Jackets to the win with 312 total yards and a rushing touchdown. Cade Klubnik and the Tigers fought hard with Klubnik piling up 269 total yards with passing and rushing scores. Bryant Wesco Jr. finished with 7 catches for 126 yards and a touchdown in the loss.

Jamal Haynes was also in on the Yellow Jacket rushing front, carrying the ball in for 2 touchdowns of his own. The Georgia Tech defense recorded 6 sacks on the day and caused 2 turnovers. Jordan Van Den Berg blocked a field goal that was scooped up by Ahmari Harvey and returned for a Georgia Tech touchdown.
