What did the ACC Pre-Season football poll get right and wrong?

The ACC has released their Preseason football poll.

What did the media get right and what did they get wrong?

Picking Miami first was a no-brainer, and SMU and Louisville in the top 3 were spot on. The bottom three of UNC, Boston College and Stanford are also hard to argue against in some order as the bottom 3.

It’s in the middle where I have some questions. Cal at 12 with Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele at Quarterback? Yes, I’m not sure about it, and even Pitt with Mason Heintschel at Quarterback at 9 seems underrated.

I don’t think Georgia Tech is going to fall off the map by any stretch, but 5 does seem ambitious given the Jackets will have an unproven quarterback. That’s a lot of respect being shown to Brent Key and Georgia Tech.
