Could Danny Manning land the prized transfer?

Terry Henderson is a 6'4" 200 pound shooting guard, who recently transferred from West Virginia. Last season, Henderson averaged 11.7 points, 2.9 rebounds and 1.1 assists for the Mountaineers. The Raleigh native has narrowed his school choices to Wake Forest, North Carolina State, UCLA and Maryland. Per ESPN's Jeff Goodman, Henderson plans to take visits to each of those schools.

Henderson is a sharp shooter, who shot 37% from beyond the arc last season and had an effective field goal percentage of 53.1%. All of this, combined with a low turnover rate, allowed Henderson to have an offensive rating of 116.3 last season, which would have been the second best offensive rating on Wake Forest's roster last season.

Henderson will have to sit out next year and will have two years of eligibility remaining beginning in the 2015-2016 season. Given Wake's lack of two guards, he would certainly be worth the wait and could help Wake Forest earn a berth in the 2016 NCAA Tournament.

We will continue to update the status of Henderson's recruitment as we learn about his visit date.
