Virginia Tech impresses in 77-49 win over Dayton

Dayton vs. Virginia Tech: The Virginia Tech Hokies improved to 9-1 with a 77-49 win over Dayton in Cassell Coliseum on Wednesday. Grant Basile got things started for the Hokies with a big first half. The 6'9" grad transfer came out hot with 20 points on 8-10 shooting including 4-6 from three-point range as the Hokies doubled up the Flyers in the 1st, 42-21. Basile finished with 23 points, 8 rebounds and 4 blocked shots in the win. Sean Pedulla took over for Basile in the 2nd half, scoring 12 of his 19 points after the break.
