In the quarterfinals of the 2026 T. Rowe Price ACC Men's Basketball Tournament, the No. 2 seeded Virginia Cavaliers won a tough battle against the No. 7 seeded NC State Wolfpack. Malik Thomas led the Cavs with 16 points while Thijs De Ridder added 15 points, Jacari White chipped in 13, and Sam Lewis scored 12 points for Ryan Odom's club. Ugonna Onyenso was huge throughout the game, scoring 8 key points on 4-8 shooting, but also by blocking an ACC Tournament record-tying 8 shots in the win. Onyenso also added 6 rebounds and a steal to round out the stat sheet. Paul McNeil Jr. came up huge late as he did all that he could as the Wolfpack tried to rally for the win. McNeil Jr. finished with a game-high 26 points on 7-15 shooting, including 6-11 from three-point range, along with 6 rebounds, an assist, and a steal in the loss.
