Earlier in August, class of 2018 recruit Darius Days received his official offer from the University of North Carolina.

Now just a few weeks later, he’s set a date for an official visit.

Inside Carolina’s Sherrell McMillan is reporting that Days will be on campus beginning October 6 for his official visit. Sources confirmed to Inside Carolina on Sunday, that Days has his visit set for that day.

The 6-foot-7, 218-pound power forward out of Gainesville, Florida is a top 100 composite recruit according to 247 Sports. He’s also the 11th-best recruit in the state of Florida.

Days had a nice junior season for The Rock High School, averaging 21 points and 10 rebounds per game. His play earned him the honor of Gainesville Sun’s co-boys basketball player of the year.

He transferred from Williston to The Rock during his sophomore year, joining a program that produced talents like Joel Embiid and Scottie Wilbekin over the years.

Days hopes he’s the next prospect out of the school to have success in college and reach the NBA.

Aside from UNC, Days also has offers from Ohio State, Indiana, LSU, Memphis, Wichita State Louisville, Kansas and Providence.

He set an official visit date to Louisville the weekend of September 15-17, the Ohio State the following weekend. After the UNC visit, Days will head to LSU on October 13.

Days is undecided on where he will take his fifth and final official visit to.

When Days is at UNC, the Tar Heels will be hosting Notre Dame in a non-conference football game in Kenan Memorial Stadium.

Check back for more on Days’ recruiting as well as other UNC basketball targets as it becomes available.
