The Panthers spread the scoring around, with Brandin Cummings leading the way with 23 points while Barry Dunning Jr. added 17, Nojus Indrusaitis scored 16, Cam Corhen chipped in 15, and Roman Siulepa put up 11 points in the win. The Pitt defense held the Jackets to 40% shooting for the game and won the battle in the paint, outscoring Tech 38-28 while also scoring 21 fast break points as compared to the Yellow Jackets' 11.
