The Duke Blue Devils have received high interest from a number of top prospects from the class of 2013 and on Sunday evening they landed their second commitment in the form of an athletic small forward.
Ottawa, Kansas native Semilore Ojeleye, the No. 22 nationally ranked 2013 prospect from Scout.com, made it official on Sunday during an in-home visit with the Blue Devils. The 6-6 SF has been rumored to have favored the Blue Devils after being offered a scholarship during his June unofficial visit. Ojeleye becomes the 11th player inside Scout.com’s top 30 to pledge their commitment to a school.
Scout.com national basketball recruiting analyst, Evan Daniels, broke the news via Twitter.

Ojeleye is a physically gifted wing who is considered as one of the best overall athletes in the class of 2013. He can create his own shot and is terrific on the defensive side of the ball as he can cause havoc with his athleticism for opposing players.
During the AAU season, Ojeleye led his AAU squad, Mokan Elite, to the semifinals of the Nike EYBL Peach Jam and averaged 17.6 points on 46% shooting, 6.3 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game. He had recently trimmed his many list of schools down to four — Duke, Indiana, Oregon and Stanford — late last month, before pulling the trigger for the Blue Devils.
Ojeleye will now join SG Matthew Jones, Scout.com’s No. 27 ranked player, as the first two commitments for the Blue Devils from the class of 2013.
