The No. 2 Virginia Cavaliers pulled away late in the first half and held the No. 3 Miami Hurricanes at arm's length throughout the 2nd half of their 84-62 win in the semifinals of the 2026 T. Rowe Price ACC Men's Basketball Tournament. The Cavs closed the first half on a 13-2 run that was capped by Chance Mallory's brilliant steal and pull-up 3 as the buzzer sounded. Five players scored in double figures for the Cavs, led by Ugonna Onyenso's 17 points on 8-9 shooting to go along with 5 rebounds, 4 blocked shots, and a steal. Thijs De Ridder and Sam Lewis each added 16 points while Malik Thomas chipped in 15 points in the win. Tru Washington led the Hurricanes with 13 points in the loss.
