It might have gone unnoticed, but Duke landed an offensive tackle from Tennessee late Wednesday.

Patrick Leitten is a 6-foot-7, 250-pound offensive tackle from Brentwood High School announced over social media that he would be heading to Duke.

On Wednesday, Leitten announced:

“I’d like to say thank you to all the coaches who have recruited me and given me opportunities to play football for them.  Also to my family, my friends, my teammates and coaches supporting me through this process deserve a huge thank you.  This decision wasn’t easy but after considering all my options I’m extremely blessed to be proudly committed to Duke University!! #DUKEGANG”

Leitten received an offer from Duke in early June when he camped and in a matter of days, he announced that Duke was his choice. The Tennessee product held offers from schools like Army, Austin Peay, Coastal Carolina, Eastern Kentucky, Harvard, Illinois State, Memphis, MTSU, Richmond, Tennessee Tech, Tulane, Vanderbilt, Wake Forest, and Western Kentucky.
