UNC heads to the NCAA title game on Monday night versus Villanova. Here are a few tidbits and numbers about the match-up and UNC's postseason run.

-UNC will face Villanova for the seventh time in the NCAA Tournament. The Tar Heels are 5-1 against the Wildcats in those games and 3-0 under Roy Williams.UNC's single loss came in the 1985 Elite Eight.

-Via our friend T.H., UNC has beaten Villanova in every round of the NCAA Tournament except the title game.

-Via Chris, UNC has beaten Villanova during the past two championship runs.

-UNC has won its first five NCAA Tournament games by double figures and no result has been closer than 14 points. The last UNC team to put together that kind of run was the 2009 squad which won all six games in the tournament that season by double figures.

-Brice Johnson broke the UNC single season rebounding record with nine boards against Syracuse raising his season total to 407.

-Johnson is now fifth all time in career rebounds with 1027 and is 16th in points with 1702 for his career.

-Barring an epic collapse of some sort, Johnson will finish atop the KenPom Player of the Year standings.

-Paige has made 35 three pointers during his career in the NCAA tournament and is three short of the UNC career record of 38 by Donald Williams.

-Paige has 295 made threes in his career with one game remaining.

-UNC has opened as a 3 point favorite over Villanova. KenPom has Villanova favored 77-76 with a 56% probability.
