The Wolfpack defeated the rival Tar Heels, 42-19. It's NC State's fifth consecutive win over North Carolina. The Wolfpack outgained UNC 185-70 on the ground. CJ Bailey threw for 201 yards and two touchdowns on 21-30 passing. He also had 65 rushing yards. Backup quarterback Will Wilson ran the ball 12 times for 54 yards and four touchdowns. For North Carolina, wide receiver Jordan Shipp caught eight passes for 90 yards and a touchdown.
