The No. 16 Louisville Cardinals put together a fantastic 2nd half as they beat Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, 28-16. Trailing 16-7, Jeff Brohm's team came out inspired in the 2nd half and scored 21-straight points for the win. Isaac Brown was a terror on the ground for the Cardinals once again, racking up 126 yards on 16 carries with a TD run before leaving with an injury. His backup, Keyjuan Brown, did not miss a beat, carrying the ball 12 times for 94 yards with two 2nd-half touchdown runs. Miller Moss completed 19-28 passes for 136 yards with a touchdown, while Kyron Drones did all that he could to keep the ballgame close and finished with 161 total yards with a passing and rushing score in the loss.
