Shough finished the game 18-31 for 231 yards and a touchdown. Louisville running back Isaac Brown had a monster game for the Cardinals with 146 yards and two touchdowns on 20 carries. For Virginia, Anthony Colandrea threw for 279 yards and a touchdown, while rushing for 86 yards. Cavaliers' wide receiver Malachi Fields caught nine passes for 129 yards.
