Jay Henderson will transfer from Louisville

This feels like the 20th transfer for Louisville in the last week.

In what is feeling like some routine weekly news, Louisville will have another transfer from the program as walk-on Jay Henderson announced he will finish out his final years of college elsewhere.

Henderson originally spent his freshman year of college at St. John’s, where he was going to try and join the basketball team in his sophomore year. However, after the coaching change following the 2014-2015 season, the opportunity for Henderson to join the team was gone.

While coming out of high school, Henderson was deciding between other programs such as Dayton, Seton Hall, Florida State, Mississippi State, Purdue, and Stanford before deciding on St. John’s.

So far, the program has seen two former walk-ons, and our 7-foot Norwegian center, transfer out of the program to go along with the decision by Jaylen Johnson to opt to stay in the NBA draft. We’re also still waiting for Mike to have a dream about Deng and Don’s decision to either come back for their junior season or test their luck in the NBA.

I’d start getting legitimately concerned once our situations turns into the one Memphis is having.
