The #18 Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets took care of business against the Temple Owls, getting the 45-24 victory. Georgia Tech jumped out to a 21-0 lead, and after Temple cut the lead down to 21-14, the Yellow Jackets went on a 17-0 run. Quarterback Haynes King completed 13 of 18 passes for 161 yards and two touchdowns. He also ran the ball eight times for 15 yards and a touchdown. Jamal Haynes had 107 rushing yards and 39 receiving yards. Malachi Hosley ran for two touchdowns and 59 yards on just five carries. Temple quarterback Evan Simons threw for 127 yards and a touchdown while also rushing for 68 yards.
