Purdue buried a school record 19 three-pointers against Fairfield, one of three outings in which the Boilers have scored over 100 points this year. Purdue is eighth nationally in scoring margin (+25.0), ninth in assists (19.9), 12th in scoring (93.1 ppg), 12th in three-point percentage (.440), 18th in field goal percentage (.520) and 26th in blocked shots (5.9).

All five starters average scoring in double figures, led by sophomore guard Carsen Edwards (18.0 ppg). Senior guard Dakota Mathias is tied for 11th in the nation in three-point percentage (.571) and is 13th in assists turnover ratio (5.5) while averaging 16.1 points per game.

The Boilermakers enter Tuesday night’s game ranked No. 12 in the Sagarin Ratings and No. 13 in Ken Pomeroy’s rankings.

Notable:

—This is Louisville’s fourth appearance in the ACC-Big 10 Challenge. The Cardinals own a 2-1 record in the event, winning home games against Ohio State in 2014 and Purdue a season ago, but falling on the road at Michigan State in 2015.

—Purdue owns a 9-7 record in the ACC-Big 10 Challenge, the best mark for a Big Ten conference team. The Boilermakers had a seven game win streak in the event before losing last year at Louisville.

—Louisville leads the nation in blocked shots (9.0 bpg) and ranks 15th in field goal percentage defense (.362).

—U of L has won its first road game in six of the last seven seasons.

—Quentin Snider needs 183 points to become the Cardinals’ 68th career 1,000-point scorer.

—Purdue’s 25-point victory over Arizona at the Battle 4 Atlantis was the program’s second-largest win ever against a ranked team, only behind a 27-point victory over No. 2 North Carolina in the 1969 Final Four

—This will be Louisville’s first appearance in Mackey Arena since an 88- 73 Purdue win over the defending national champions on Jan. 18, 1987.

—The ACC leads the ACC-Big 10 Challenge by a count of 2-0 heading into tonight’s games.

—Louisville has a 40-3 record during the month of November over the last eight years, winning 20 of its last 21 games in that month.

—Louisville is one of just four schools which have won 20 or more games in each of the last 15 seasons (also Kansas, Duke and Gonzaga).

—Louisville has opened with an 11-1 record each of the last five seasons.

Ken Pomeroy Prediction: Purdue 78, Louisville 72
