Chauncey Wiggins had his best game in a Seminole uniform, scoring a team-high 23 points on 6-13 shooting from the floor. Robert McCray V scored 19 points on 6-7 shooting to go along with 7 assists, while LaJae Jones added 18 on 5-10 shooting and Alex Steen chipped in 12 points on a perfect 5-5 shooting. Freshman superstar Ebuka Okorie did everything he could to keep the game close for Stanford and finished with a game-high 26 points on 9-19 shooting, including 3-7 from deep with 4 assists and a steal in the loss.

Freshman sensation Caleb Wilson broke the UNC record for most games scoring 20 or more points by a freshman, passing Tyler Hansbrough with his 15th game over the 20-point mark. Wilson scored 22 points on an uber-efficient 9-15 shooting, including 1-3 from three-point range, to go along with 6 rebounds, 5 assists, a block, and a steal. Henri Veesaar recorded another double-double with 20 points, 12 rebounds, and 4 blocks while Seth Trimble added 18 points on 8-14 shooting in the win. Baye Ndongo did all that he could for the Yellow Jackets, scoring a game-high 27 points on 9-12 shooting to go along with 7 rebounds and 4 assists in the loss.

Khani Rooths has a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds. For SMU, Boopie Miller had 20 points, four assists, and two rebounds. BJ Edwards added 13 points, eight rebounds, and three steals.
