SMU picks up convincing win over Louisville 38-6

SMU kept its ACC Championship hopes alive with a convincing 38 to 6 win over Louisville. Junior quarterback Kevin Jennings was the difference maker, completing 29 of 37 passes for 303 yards and three touchdowns. He flashed his playmaking ability all afternoon, adding a rushing score and turning a broken play into an improvised shovel pass touchdown. In total, nine SMU receivers recorded at least one catch against the Cardinals.

Cincinnati vs. Louisville: The #6 Cardinals defeated the Bearcats, 74-64, at The Hoops Classic in Cincinnati. After shooting just 25.9% from the field in the first half, Louisville bounced back in the second half, shooting 48.3% and outscoring Cincinnati by 14 points. Freshman Mikel Brown Jr. finished the game with 22 points, six assists, five rebounds, and three steals. Ryan Conwell led Louisville with 25 points and made five three-pointers. Day Day Thomas and Shon Abaev each scored 12 points for Cincinnati.
